On the lawn at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, two legends came together. Meyers Manx, the original fiberglass dune buggy that turned driving into pure joy, and Tuthill, the rally masters behind adventures across the globe, unveiled the LFG — a limited-production off-road performance machine built to rekindle the wild spirit of recreational driving.
The first 20 vehicles will join the inaugural LFG Baja Tour in 2027, celebrating 50 years since Meyers Manx conquered the very first NORRA 1000. It’s a tribute to grit, freedom, and the kind of driving that starts with a grin and ends covered in dust.
Meyers Manx has always been about friends, open skies, and unforgettable drives. Tuthill has spent decades leading drivers to the ends of the earth. Together, we’re setting the stage for the next great adventure.
“This project started as a dream between my long-time pal Richard and me, who are constantly in pursuit of the ultimate expression of freedom and performance. We came together to imagine the perfect Meyers Manx, and after we laid the foundation, we invited our friend Freeman Thomas to bring his design brilliance to Tuthill’s incredible engineering capability. The result is exactly what we sought; raw, visceral, novel, and totally uncompromising. We call it LFG for a reason…”
